James T. Egan (Bookfly Design) has created another outstanding cover for The Cain Series, with this beauty for Life in the Grey:

You’ll no-doubt notice the triple panel in the window behind Cain, depicting the three major environments in which the story takes place; it also conveys the three-act structure of the novel.  It’s that subtly of detail and nuance, the metaphor captured within imagery, that only a human can bring to a cover design—another reason to never use so-called AI or tolerate those who do.  Create, don’t steal.

Book 7 in the series, which is also the second entry for cycle 2, is well underway and on schedule for a spring launch, 2027.  More updates for that book as we enter the new year.  Until then, we’re only a month away from the launch of Life in the Grey.  Hope to see you there.
